Easter 2014: New Life

IMG_0056

A picture-perfect day of spring, celebrating new life and the hope we celebrate in Christ’s Life. New life was all around us, in the trees, the flowers, the grass. The sun shone on us and we shared the day with Cynthia’s family and our church family.

This was the first Easter where we had an Easter egg hunt.  Also, the first Easter where we explained the story of the Resurrection to a daughter.  As for comprehension?  Well, we’ll be working on that in years to come.  But I suppose comprehension of the Resurrection is something we are all working on.

A few pictures from today
