Summer does not last long enough! But, for our few days of enjoyment, Cynthia reserved the Hamma Hamma Cabin, a classic lovely looking cabin built during the Great Depression by the CCC. The cabin has only propane lights, a small amount of running water, and some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.
After that, we drove down to Uncle Matt’s house in Battle Ground, WA. He showed us his house, his project (he is building a “Tiny House”- popular phenomenon here in the NW) his livestock, and toured us around Portland.
Our 72 hours of vacation was short, but worth it!
